1. Our commitment
At Prudent we want this site to be usable by as many people as possible, including those who browse with a keyboard, with a screen reader, with low vision or with a reduced motion preference. We use the WCAG 2.1 level AA standard as our reference.
This statement describes the current state of the site's accessibility honestly: it is an active commitment, not a formal certificate of conformity issued by an external auditor.
2. Measures already in place
- Colour contrast checked on text, buttons and focus states, in both light and dark mode.
- Keyboard focus is always visible, with a distinctly coloured ring.
- Full keyboard navigation: menus, the mobile menu and accordions can be opened, moved through and closed without a mouse.
- Descriptive alternative text on product images.
- Respect for the system preference
prefers-reduced-motion: if you enable it, animations are switched off. - Semantic structure of headings and regions to make navigation easier with a screen reader.
